Dr. Edward Parrish is the founder of Parrish Chiropractic Center – a family practice located in Allentown, PA since 1996. He graduated with his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the prestigious Life College of Chiropractic in Marietta, GA. He is an active member of the Pennsylvania Chiropractic Association, and regularly attends continuing education seminars to stay abreast of the latest techniques and procedures in his profession. Dr. Parrish was first introduced to Chiropractic at the age of 14. He had been treating for years with orthopedic specialists in New York due to having advanced scoliosis (curvature of the spine). Their recommendation was to surgically fuse a rod to his spine. Fortunately, his mother decided to take him to a chiropractor for a second opinion. After undergoing a series of chiropractic spinal adjustments, his condition greatly improved in the months to follow. Following this, his brother (now a Chiropractor in Connecticut) who was a pre-med student in college, who had been undergoing medical treatment for severe weekly headaches since the age of ten, began chiropractic care. Within a few weeks his headaches stopped and never returned. He immediately withdrew his applications to medical school and applied to Chiropractic College!
