Fill Out Brief Paperwork

You’ll be asked to fill out an initial intake form. Please let us know if you’ve been involved in a work related or automobile accident as you will need to provide us with some additional information regarding the nature of your accident.

We value your time, so we always make a point of not having you wait long to be seen by Dr. Parrish. To save some time, you can print out your intake form and bring it to us already competed… you will find it under the “New Patients” tab above.

Insurance

Our staff will take care of all your insurance paperwork – from verifying benefits, to filing claims, to following up with your insurance company. We participate with many insurance plans including Highmark, Capita Blue Cross, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Medicare, and Geisinger. We also accept other insurance plans such as Cigna , United Health Care, and others . No insurance? No problem! Affordable cash plans are available.

Consultation

Dr. Parrish will sit down and have an in depth consultation with you in order to get detailed information regarding your health. This will allow the doctor to determine which exams and x-rays need to be performed. At that time you can discuss with him your health goals and see if chiropractic is likely to help you. There is never a charge for your initial consultation; this is our way of removing any barrier to sitting down with the doctor and discovering if chiropractic is the right choice for you.

Examination

A thorough examination will be performed by Dr. Parrish which will include appropriate orthopedic and neurological tests, motion and static palpation of your spine to locate misaligned or locked up joints, and an evaluation of spinal ranges of motion to look for excessive or restricted movements. In addition we have available computerized diagnostic testing to determine muscle injury, weakness, or imbalance if necessary.

X-Rays

If needed, the appropriate digital x-rays will be taken to provide Dr. Parrish with valuable information regarding the health and alignment of your spine, as well as to help rule out more serious conditions that may need other types of treatment. X-rays also help in determining the appropriate treatment plan for your condition.

Chiropractic Care

We know that many of our new patients are in pain and need to start care as soon as possible. We always offer our patients the opportunity to be treated on their first visit. Gentle chiropractic adjustments as well as other types of treatment can have you feeling better soon!

Follow-up Visit

At Parrish Chiropractic Center, special attention is placed on educating our patients. On your follow-up visit, Dr. Parrish will review your exam and x-ray findings with you. Treatment recommendations are given to each patient on an individual basis and different options of care are discussed.

After understanding your condition, you can decide if short term pain relief care is what you desire, or if you’d rather undergo a treatment plan designed to not only help alleviate your pain but to also correct the underlying cause of your condition.
